Tom and Spencer have way too much fun.
When Spencer was born, Tom asked, “When is he going to be able to play?” This boy is in for a great life.
We love having Jon and Anna around! Torbin and Zach are such little cuties.
Our last Sunday with these crazy kids. We had so much fun teaching the 9-10 year olds in primary. They were super talkative, but also super adorable. We loved them.
This is the homemade Christmas gift that Tom made for dad – a shelf with buckets for sorting tools. He’s awesome.
On December 15th, we had a really fun Blodgett Christmas party at Grandpa Blodgett’s house. There were plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins, and kids of cousins to see. I still don’t know quite a few of Tom’s family members very well, so it was awesome to chat with everyone. JoAnne made delicious food, Santa came, the snow was plentiful, it was a great party.
Spencer with his second Santa of the season. Still indifferent.
We decided to plant the balloon arch from the ward party in Bishop O’Hara’s yard. The snow had quite a hay-day with it.
We were having way too much fun Christmas shopping at Target. He’s the happiest boy.
Spencer’s model pose.
He now has found his tongue. And loves it almost more than his fingers.
“Mom, dad put me in a bucket again…”
“It’s pretty awesome.”
On the eve of December 17th, we had a load of presents to open that we couldn’t haul to Kentucky with us. It was so much fun to have an early Christmas! We were very spoiled this year. (As always.) Spencer was too young to understand what opening presents meant, but he still loved his new stuff!
“Am I doing this right?”
His very first Christmas present!
“New clothes! Yum!” Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa Bay!
Spencer’s big Santa gift. He loves it!
I got a new robe! Now I never have to get dressed! Woot! 🙂
Dad’s new baby carrier….aka laptop bag for work. Looking good, boys!
We flew to Kentucky on December 18th with John and LuCy (his girlfriend). Tom was on Delta, but his flights left and landed when ours did, so it worked out really well. Spencer was absolutely perfect on his very first flight, and slept almost the entire day. He’s such an angel. Tom and I both woke up with a nasty stomach bug, so I was very grateful to have John and LuCy around to help with the boy.
“Who is this new pretty face? I think I love her.” I think Aunt Emily loves you too, Spence.
I don’t know if the boy got enough attention in Kentucky. 😉 It was so fun to finally have my family meet him! We had such a great holiday with everyone. Matt and Corinda, Chuck and Emily, Mom, Dad, and Glen all live in KY right now. Jeff and Ashlee stayed in Oregon this year, because she was 8 months pregnant. Tammy and Greg stayed in Arizona…still not sure why. We definitely missed them!
Go Cougars!! I’m starting him young.
One of the nights in Kentucky, we drove through Southern Lights with the family. It was very cool. And cold.
Lunch with Dara at Ramsey’s. I love her. Spencer does, too.
Tom worked in my dad’s office down in the basement most of the time we were home. Thanks for working so hard for us, honey. We love you!
On December 21st, we hopped in Chuck and Emily’s BMW and drove to Chattanooga, Tennessee to visit Chris, Becky, and the girls. It was a quick weekend, but we had a great time! Baby Kylee is so sweet and tiny. Mom and Dad Bay, and Brittany were there as well. We got to open our homemade and sibling gifts on the 22nd. It was so fun! Brynn was pretty excited about all of the gifts under the tree.
He was pretty happy about driving four hours to see his cousins.
Spencer sure loved little KyKy. He is lucky to have so many awesome cousins! Too bad they live really far away.
He’s never looked so big.
Lovings from gorgeous cousin Brynn.
