It was a wonderful day with family.

2012-10-28 13.44.58

We tried and tried, but couldn’t get a smile out of this little spud for his blessing day picture. Mom Krebs bought him this adorable blessing outfit.

2012-10-28 16.29.54

Aunt Brittany is his best friend. And girlfriend.

2012-10-28 18.28.09

Happy blessing day, Spencer. We are so grateful that you joined our family and are sealed to us eternally.

2012-10-28 19.22.59

He snuggled right in with his Grandpa.

2012-10-29 11.58.03

Oops, they spelled his name wrong. We got it fixed right away, no worries.

2012-10-29 18.13.56

Tom and I both voted early, to be good citizens.

2012-10-29 22.24.55

Poor boy got his immunization shots at his two-month check up. He was pretty sad about it.

2012-10-31 10.58.09 2

Sweet Kylee Beckstrand was born on October 31st (also Brittany’s birthday). She was a month early, but as perfect as could be. (This picture was sent by Becky, who was thrilled to have her baby!)

2012-10-31 12.19.10

We joined Tom at work for the Halloween lunch – as Frankenstein’s wife and son.

October 21-27, 2012

2012-10-21 07.59.40

From October 20th-23rd, Tom was in Las Vegas for the DrivingSales Executive Summit (DSES). We missed him a lot, but I think he enjoyed the conference. It’s the biggest thing that DrivingSales does every year. Hundreds of people came from all over the country to be taught about best practices in the auto industry. This was Tom’s view from the Bellagio.

2012-10-21 15.59.01

The huge conference room in the Bellagio.

2012-10-22 10.32.27

Rand Fishkin with Tom – he was one of the speakers at DSES. He is an SEO guru – a leader in web search. Tom said he was a great guy.

2012-10-22 18.05.46

Billy Beane was another big speaker at DSES. This is the line to get baseballs signed by him.

2012-10-22 20.00.10

Our cute puppet project. Old McDonald and all of his crew.

2012-10-22 20.00.20

The backs.

2012-10-23 17.02.08

We went on a chilly walk. I love him all bundled up.

2012-10-23 17.26.45

Jimmy worked for DrivingSales as a video editor and was able to go to Vegas as well. Party time!

2012-10-23 17.44.53

Lonely without dad!

2012-10-23 18.52.13

Part of the team – Kevin, Craig, Tom, Skylar, and Jeff

2012-10-24 18.15.04

We got all dressed up for the ward Halloween party! Spencer was Frankenstein, and I was Frankenstein’s mom. 🙂 We picked Tom up that night from the airport. It was a great party!

2012-10-24 19.24.55

Toilet picture…for dad.

2012-10-25 08.07.34

This was the first snow of the season! And the first snow for baby.

2012-10-25 08.12.18

It was an exciting moment.

2012-10-25 09.02.43

So much concern.

2012-10-25 09.51.02

And joy!

2012-10-25 12.40.34

His feet don’t quite touch yet…but he loves looking at everything!

2012-10-25 20.15.55

Torbin is obsessed with trains, so this scene is common at the Bay house.

2012-10-26 12.47.04

Happy two month birthday, my little angel.

2012-10-26 16.54.05

GOOOO CATS! Aunt Dara gave Spence this adorable sweatshirt.

2012-10-26 18.22.23

It was Take-Your-Family-To-Work day. (I think we also joined the DS team for a potluck.)

2012-10-26 21.25.14

On the night of the 26th, we had a fun pumpkin-carving party at Lindsay and Paul Hamilton’s new house.

2012-10-26 22.20.27

Tom created another masterpiece.

2012-10-26 23.30.43 2012-10-26 23.57.03

2012-10-27 13.09.00

On the 27th, Grandpa Krebs flew in for Spencer’s baby blessing. This was the first time that Spencer got to meet his other Grandpa. Thanks for coming, dad!

2012-10-27 13.45.43

We had a delicious lunch with the Hatch Family and Megan Lindmark in Provo. You don’t get better than Kentucky friends!

2012-10-27 15.42.43

We went on a walk to Bridal Veil Falls with dad and John. It was chilly, but beautiful.

2012-10-27 15.57.18

The falls.

Hi there. I am now attempting to update our amazing wedding website that Tom created into our family blog. Wish me luck!

Tom and I were married on October 15th, 2011 in Louisville, Kentucky. We had our first baby on August 26, 2012. We couldn’t be happier.

October 14-20, 2012

2012-10-14 11.35.20

This sweet boy fell asleep before we could even wrap him.

2012-10-14 14.15.24

Our cutie primary class. This was the first week that Spencer and I went back to church. He was six weeks old. They absolutely loved him. Yes, he was kind of a distraction, but it was fun.

2012-10-14 14.19.23

They could have looked at and played with him all day long.

2012-10-14 19.02.47

On October 14th, we carved (and drew) pumpkins to celebrate Mom Bay’s birthday. Grandpa Blodgett drew a pretty scary one.

2012-10-14 19.04.18

Happy Birthday, Mom!! We are so grateful to be able to live with Tom’s parents right now. We have saved a lot of money for a down payment on our own home. They are so generous! We love talking, laughing, and eating dinner with them every night. It’s also awesome that they love watching Spence!

2012-10-14 19.15.46

Blurry family photo of pumpkin carving.

2012-10-14 19.35.47

I guess Torbin wanted to blow out mom’s candles. Make a wish!

2012-10-14 20.33.32

Spencer loved the balloon decorations. Mr. Curious.

2012-10-14 23.06.32

My husband is a very patient, very artisically inclined man. It took him hours, but he created this amazing toothy pumpkin. I hope he passes those genes on to our children!

2012-10-15 07.25.46

October 15th was our ONE YEAR anniversary! I woke up to this sweet note and picture as the screen saver on my phone. It will probably be there for a long time. I am so incredibly grateful for our marriage. I felt like I waited a long time to get married (I was only 27), and I always hoped to find a man that would treat me well and want to start our family right away. Tom has exceeded every expectation that I ever had. He makes me happy every single day – with his sweet words, hugs, laughs, and chats. AND he is the best dad in the entire world. Spencer loves every minute of dad time. I love you, Tom! Here’s to an eternity of anniversaries!

2012-10-15 08.40.57

He’s pretty happy that we got married.

2012-10-15 19.52.14

We went to the Melting Pot in SLC for our big anniversary date. It was delicious!

2012-10-15 20.02.22

Yummy fondue!

2012-10-15 21.15.56

It was a nice atmosphere to talk and reminisce over the last year of our life together. We have been incredibly blessed.

2012-10-16 10.10.46

This boy can fall asleep anywhere.

2012-10-17 15.22.28

We got to meet up with the Smith family (friends from our AZ ward) in Sandy. Tom works with the husband of Jen’s sister…such a small world. 🙂

2012-10-17 20.41.20

A couple of Jimmy’s friends came over in their ugly sweaters, and Spencer wanted to join them.

2012-10-18 15.27.00

He was slightly amused by the puppets I made. I’m sure he’ll like them better when he gets older. 🙂

2012-10-19 09.21.25

He has the cutest little naked body I’ve ever seen.

2012-10-19 09.58.01

My happy angel-faced boy.

2012-10-19 18.38.58

There’s now a Jimmy John’s down the street!! I love Jimmy’s!! I’m pretty sure this was a date night with Tom and the boy.

2012-10-20 11.43.51

After a few days outside, the pumpkins started having a few issues…ew.

October 7-13, 2012

2012-10-07 15.48.41

We watched fall General Conference in the basement with the family. It was a wonderful, spirit-filled weekend. Even Spencer enjoyed watching!

2012-10-08 12.59.56

Lunch time with the boy strapped on. He loves his Bjorn. Thanks, Tammy!

2012-10-10 13.13.22

We went to the Mall for some boot-shopping good times.

2012-10-11 14.46.08

I made this door quieter for Spencer’s room. It was a five minute project (from Pinterest, of course) that has been awesome to have. I never have to worry about his door being too noisy when I leave after I’ve laid him down for a nap.

2012-10-11 19.14.38

Crazy bed hair!

2012-10-12 14.20.14

I have the best view.

2012-10-12 14.56.27

Driving Sales gave Spencer these adorable onesies. He loves promoting daddy’s company.

2012-10-10 21.36.32

Daddy went out of town to DC for a few days, and Spencer was sure thrilled when we picked him up at the airport!

2012-10-13 11.21.00

The whole family went to Colin’s baptism on the 13th. This was Spencer’s first real adventure out of the house, surrounded by a lot of people. He loved it! He loves people! Especially pretty Aunt JoAnne.

2012-10-13 12.49.55

Family photo. Spencer is a cheeser. I hope he always stays that way!

2012-10-13 12.36.35

He brings us so much joy!

2012-10-13 12.10.50

“Spencer, if we just look at that camera, maybe they’ll let us stop this nonsense.” I love that Zach is only 3 months older than Spence – they will be great friends!

2012-10-13 14.08.47

After the baptism, we went to this fun pumpkin patch to celebrate mom’s birthday. It was so festive.

2012-10-13 13.57.04

Everyone was there! Mom, Dad, Jon, Anna, Torbin, Zach, Tom, Me, Spencer, Brittany, and Jimmy. We loved picking our own pumpkins, and walking through the corn maze.

2012-10-13 14.18.05

I love my little family.

2012-10-13 14.26.38

Trying to keep the boy warm.

2012-10-13 14.28.56

Tom took this awesome shot of Jimmy in the corn maze. I’m sure Jim took lots of awesome shots from his perspective, too.

2012-10-13 18.14.03

The 13th was a busy Saturday! After the baptism and pumpkin patch Tom, Spencer, and I went to “Light the Night.” It was a walk for Cancer (specifically Leukemia). One of Tom’s co-workers beat cancer and got several of them involved in raising money for this charity. We had a great time with the other Driving Sales team members.

2012-10-13 18.19.06

Face painting!

2012-10-13 18.29.27

Tom wanted a picture of the gorgeous hill and clouds. The walk was a really good experience. These balloons lit up, and it was really neat to see thousands of people walking together for a purpose with their lights held high. I’d love to do something like this again – especially since I’ve lost a grandpa, aunt, and two uncles to cancer. Find a cure!

October 1-6, 2012

October! Welcome fall treats, decorations, weather, and happiness.
