Tom got Zelda for Christmas…and this is what the rest of the week looked like. ๐Ÿ™‚

IMG_0638_small

We went to the Jordan River Temple as a family to do baptisms. I felt super sick the whole time, and so did Anna since she’s pregnant too. It was nice to be in the temple with all of the Bays, though.

IMG_0639_small

The men were in the middle of a beard growing competition. They started on December 1st. I think that Jonny ended up winning for best beard overall.

IMG_0651_small

We had a fun night with Jethro and Staci Jones (and the kids). We ate treats and played fast Monopoly. I really like the Jone’s. They are a wonderful family.

Jethro and Staci

IMG_0663_small

We had a white elephant gift exchange and dinner with Tom’s friends. It was pretty hilarious.

IMG_0668_small

This clock makes animal noises on the hour. You can’t beat that.

IMG_0669_small

I think Becky Lang liked her winter clothes.

IMG_0677_small

Taking down the tree. ๐Ÿ™ The worst part of Christmas.

IMG_0679_small

A little trimming had to be done before they could bag it up.

IMG_0687_small

Fancy moves, mom!

IMG_0315_small

On New Years Eve, we had a lot of people over and played Reverse Charades. It was a blast.

IMG_0320_small

Yeah…

IMG_0692_small

The spectators.

IMG_0325_small

The team ALL acts out the word while ONE person tries to guess.

IMG_0344_small

Piano Quartet.

IMG_0346_small

I think that two puzzles were finished on New Years Eve.

IMG_0689_small

They were so proud of their work. #puzzling

December 24-25, 2011

IMG_0269_small

We opened all of our gifts via Google Hangout with Becky and Chris in Tennessee. It was pretty much chaos, but fun to be all together.

IMG_0276_small

Torbin liked his blocks!

IMG_0282_small

Britt’s turn…

IMG_0283_small

And Tom.

IMG_0286_small

Brittany learned how to carve wood for her homemade gift to Tom! She carved him a hot dog and a cool little orange man she created.

IMG_0290_small

Tom made Jimmy this awesome shirt. Of himself. “When life gives you lemons…..beard.”

IMG_0297_small

Family Christmas time in the basement. I am lucky to have married in to such a wonderful family.

IMG_0301_small

We got to talk to Elder Krebs from London! We love Google Hangout SO MUCH. It can’t get better than having your entire family (from five states and two countries) all together on one screen. Thank you, google.

IMG_0305_small

Christmas morning present opening with the little family – just mom, dad, Britt, and Jim.

IMG_0306_small

Everyone got these super fun Nerf Guns. We had many wars.

IMG_0307_small

This was the gift we gave to mom and dad Bay for Christmas. ๐Ÿ™‚ They opened it when we were all Google chatting. It was pretty exciting to tell everyone!

IMG_0608_small

Tom snuck this picture of mom speaking at the Branch. We had a wonderful experience listening to our parents speak to us on Christmas day. Tom and I are both so blessed with amazing parents who have set such a good example to us of Gospel living. I pray that we can be half the parents that they have been.

IMG_0610_small

My special stocking! Tom stocked it full of fun things.

IMG_0612_small

His was pretty stocked, too.

IMG_0619_small

Grandpa came over for Christmas dinner. I think they must have been Skyping with Becky.

IMG_0622_small

Puzzle times! We did many over the break.

IMG_0623_small

Looking so good.

ย Nerf war on the cups and Nativity.

IMG_0232_small_small

On the flight to Utah! Excited for Christmas break!

IMG_0235_small_small

Just sleeping in on our vacation. ๐Ÿ™‚

IMG_0240_small_small

I haven’t seen snow in forever! I love it! (Especially when I have nowhere to go…)

IMG_0252_small_small

We went to The Chocolate with friends! The pizookie is delicious and the atmosphere is fun. (Britt, Jake, Courtney, Kiley, Heather)

IMG_0253_small_small

We stopped by Jake’s new physical therapy practice. Tom was subjected to some sort of torture device.

IMG_0549_small_small

Painting away…only a few days until Christmas! Must. Finish.

IMG_0255_small_small

I finally finished Torbin’s homemade Christmas gift. I sure hope he likes it!

IMG_0257_small_small

I ended up buying the blocks, because my spray-painted blocks were a joke.

IMG_0258_small_small

Merry Christmas at the Bay’s! I think Tom must have been working from home.

IMG_0259_small_small

Chuck and Emily came by before they flew to Kentucky for Christmas. We got to meet sweet little Jackson (born on Thanksgiving, so he’s about a month old here). He’s a precious little angel!

IMG_0264_small_small

Grandpa Bay was enjoying the snuggles.

IMG_0265_small_small

My little brother has a baby! So crazy to me. He’s a natural, though. We won’t be too far behind…

IMG_0564_small_small

I got to feed the sweet little man. I can’t wait to have our own!

IMG_0483_small_small

DrivingSales had a meeting with all of the team members.

IMG_0498_small_small

And lunch, too. Yummy Chipotle.

IMG_0505_small_small

There were SO MANY birds. We were chasing them around the neighborhood, to get cool videos and pictures. They need to migrate, or something!

IMG_0524_small_small

Mint Oreo balls. Heaven in my mouth.

IMG_0530_small_small

My first experience with Pho. It’s like a really fancy ramen. Too bad I felt like I was going to vomit, I’m sure I would have liked it a lot more.

IMG_0534_small_small

Kiley was there for us, and ate our leftovers. He loves Pho.

IMG_0595_small_small

ย Anna and Torbin, cooking tortillas for our tacos. Yum.

December 1-18, 2011

IMG_0124_small

My handsome shorn husband.

IMG_0126_small

I love finding sweet notes like this outside my room at school. This was from Bobby.

IMG_0128_small

Date night to the East Valley Mormon Choir. It was beautiful.

IMG_0134_small

We went to the Mesa Temple Lights with Tammy, Greg, Emma, and Grant. It was cold and beautiful.

IMG_0136_small

Funny little man.

IMG_0137_small

They always do such a great job on the lights. I love to see the temple. Especially since we got engaged there!

IMG_0139_small

Emma and the Christus.

IMG_0143_small

We don’t get many of these foggy mornings. It’s all so mysterious.

IMG_0144_small

I love my cute family.

IMG_0147_small

Emma got to go to her first Tempe Symphony Concert with us. Tammy was performing. It was the Christmas Concert, and it was fantastic! Emma did great!

IMG_0158_small

I can’t get enough of these little cuties.

IMG_0161_small

Guitarin’

IMG_0177_small

Christmas party with the kids! (JC, Austin, Nikki, Kayla)

IMG_0228_small

Gerardo and Brianna

IMG_0178_small

And….Alex.

IMG_0187_small

I love my husband, and our piano, and our Christmas tree.

IMG_0190_small

Happy two month anniversary to us! I love the anniversary cake tradition.

IMG_0432_small

So delicious.

IMG_0191_small

Grandpa Hancock gave us dozens of oranges from his trees. They make the most delicious juice. Thanks, Grandpa!

IMG_0360_small

We had the Tondevolds over to make graham cracker houses. It was fun! We love hanging out with them. Shauna is pregnant, too! I think she’s due about 10 weeks before me.

IMG_0377_small

Their house was the one with the clock. I think they won.

IMG_0385_small

We decided to try the bun-free In&Out burgers. It was pretty good. I think I prefer the bread, though. I mean, if we’re going to eat unhealthy…

IMG_0387_small

We opened our big Christmas presents early, since we’ll be flying to Utah for Christmas. I’m so excited to have a Wii! It will be loads of fun for the family.

IMG_0394_small

And one last hoorah with the Adams before we left for Utah. We’ll miss you, Ems! Merry Christmas.
